This movie was a blatant and intentional rip off of snow white. But it was damn cute. I thought the movie was definitely entertaining and a good waste of two hours on a cold Saturday afternoon. Amanda Bynes (What a girl wants, Hairspray) took on the lead roll of Sydney White who pledges a sorority as a legacy her first year at college only to be run out by the wicked Rachel Witchburn played by Sara Paxton (Aquamarine, Return to Halloweentown.) She than takes shelter in a house with seven dorks, where the battle between good and bad begins. I admit this movie was a little over the top and extremely cheesy in spots. Plus they could have done a better job of letting the symbolism stand on it’s own rather than pointing it out to us. But the important thing is it had a good message and it made me laugh.
